Redesign of "When2Meet" case study
Role UX Content Designer & Researcher | Team of 5
When2meet.com is a free group scheduling service. When2meet allows a wide range of users (including event planners, college students, entrepreneurs) to schedule meetings for large groups of individuals.works—but the design was not user friendly and instructions were not clear. My team and I redesigned the user interface and added calendar sync feature to save time.

Original user view

Redesigned view
The problem
-
User interface is unsatisfying
-
Below are a few compliants found from our user interviews
1. Confusion for what is required of the user to input availability

2. Do users fill out the calendar on the Left of Right?

3. Ambiguity with who is free and when; no option to give a preferable or maybe option

Goals of the redesign

-
Develop clear onboarding process
-
Include the ability to sync with other applications (ex. Google Calendar)
-
Include a "yes/no/maybe or unpreferable" options when users fill out their availability time slots
